Steering Committees are at the heart of Community Schools implementation, but no two look the same. Strengthening local association involvement is essential to this work. This convening is designed to support that effort.
During this session, participants will engage in:
• Clear structures for effective Steering Committee governance
• Tools to strengthen shared decision-making and accountability
• Strategies to address real challenges in implementation
• Opportunities to collaborate with teams across affiliates
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Each local association may bring a team of up to five, including:
• Governance President and/or Vice President
• Board Member
• UniServ Staff
• Member(s) actively engaged in Community Schools work at the school or district level
